Walking for the cure

It was an interesting weekend at Sunset Ridge to say the least. To start it off, the team made a contribution and walked the track to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

Sam Rowe ran two good Pro motos on Saturday and ended up with a 10th place overall on the weekend. Sam was lined up to finish 2nd overall in pro-am after having an impressive 4th place finish in Moto 1. He came out for the second Moto in the back of the pack, but he worked his way back up to 4th place by the last lap where his motor blew with half a lap to go. He was disappointed, but will make it up at Millville coming up.

Tommy faced a lot of up and downs this weekend, but ended up raising himself in the points lead. In Production A on Saturday Tommy finished 7th and was not satisfied with himself so he came back for redemption in 450 A where he lead 3 laps then got passed on the last lap to finish second overall. Sunday morning came and Tommy had his mind set on an overall and a comeback for Production A. He pulled a 4th place start and ended up getting spun around and then hit which caused him to wreck, although he was half a lap down Tommy was determined to do his best. He charged and caught back up to the pack and even made a few passes after being almost a full lap down. In 450 A he ran a hard Moto and ended up getting 5th for a third overall on the weekend.
