Tommy Vossman proved that hard work really does pay off this round, and everyone took notice. He had an amazing Saturday winning his first A class Moto (Production A) and placing 3rd in 450A in the AMA National championship series. During both moto’s, Tommy was the only rider to make numerous passes on the famous Muddy Creek Triple jumping next to and even over some riders. Sunday, Tommy was more determined then ever. His hole shots were once again on point, and he made his way up to first in no time to lead 450A. After leading over half the moto, he was passed on the 3rd to lap by Cody Ford. He stayed on his bumper nearly passed him back by taking the triple once again on the last lap. Tommy went 1-2 for a second overall in Prod A for the weekend and finished on the podium in 3rd in 450A! Way to go Tommy…biggest point gain of the season and TWO podiums!
Sam had a good weekend in Tennessee. He earned his first ever Pro award by pulling the hole shot Sunday in only his second season in the Pro class. He got to feel what it was like to run up front with the leaders of the Pro Class. Sam slowly fell back and salvaged a top 10 overall. He had a rough spill in his ProAm moto getting tangled with a former teammate, Haedyn Mickelson, both riders going a lap down once they got back on track. He finished with a 9th overall in ProAm on the weekend, a disappointing finish as Sam expects to win some races this year. His time will come!
